Slash entering Newport

A boy with a black cloak included with a hoodie, was wandering around the desert, looking for a city. But then again, it is a desert. He was highly doubting that there would be any cities in a desert. But, oh well! He has been searching for at least 30 minutes. Luckily, the boy did bring a small gray container that had water in it. This boy's name is Slash. A ruthless young boy. He plans to search for a city to stay in a while. But, nothing has been found. He saw a dust ball blowing in with the wind, heading off south, which was the opposite of Slash's direction.

"Damn it... where the hell am I suppose to find a city in a damn desert!" The ruthless boy snarled with anger. But however, he used to remember of how his father said: "Abandon Hope.. it's a distraction to life, and can even lead to death.." But could it really be true that he should abandon hope? Slash didn't think so. He couldn't abandon hope. No, not at a time like this. From at the age of 14, he had abandon hope. Yes, it's true, he had. there were situations of where he didn't need hope. But in this situation, this might be the first time after 4 years there should be hope. God... I'm running out of water.... there's only like a quarter of it left... He though.

It was closed right now, so there was a white cap, but Slash opened it by turning it to the right, then pulled it open. After that, he started to drink it. After at least one second, he stopped, then closed the container with the cap on it, closing it tightly. Just then, he couldn't take it. This might be the end for him. However, he came across big gates, and a sigh that says, "Newport.". Newport... so you mean... this is a small town!? He thought. He was really hoping for a City, but a town is good enough! While he still has his strength left in him, he decided to walk into the gates, and start a new journey..
